Making development smart and inclusive: How access to information can deliver the SDGs - DA2I Side Event at the High Level Political Forum

During the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF), IFLA, in partnership with TASCHA, and Article 19, will hold a side event to present and analyse the findings of the first report of the Development and Access to Information (DA2I) project. This event will take place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York (Conference E), on Tuesday 11 July 2017, from 8:15 to 9:30 am EST

This will be an opportunity to hear about the report’s findings and messages, and discuss further how both to measure and increase the impact of access to information. It will help not only to disseminate the findings of the report but help to improve future editions.

The event will engage development practitioners, government representatives, civil society organisations, and other stakeholders participating of the HLPF in New York. Please note that UN Grounds Passes are needed to attend this event. Unfortunately, IFLA is unable to provide them. More information can be found on the HLPF website.
