2030 Vision: How Libraries Support the UN’s Work on Sustainable Development - IFLA and UN Library (DHL) Event during the High Level Political Forum

The United Nations Dag Hammarskjöld Library (DHL) and IFLA will be holding a side event “2030 Vision: How Libraries Support the UN’s Work on Sustainable Development” during the High Level Political Forum in New York.

In the context of the official launch of the Development and Access to Information (DA2I) report in New York that will take place on 17 July, this will be an opportunity to celebrate the role of libraries in delivering access to information at the global level. It will underline the importance of collaboration between libraries to build a global knowledge society.

The event will be hosted by the UN Dag Hammarskjöld Library in the UN Headquarters, on Thursday 13 July, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. The event is open to all. Those without UN Grounds Passes are kindly requested to RSVP to: Ramona Kohrs (kohrs@un.org), by Wednesday, 12 July 2017, 12 pm EDT.
